LONDON and NEW YORK, January 8, 2020: Morgan Lewis has advised the Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Laos) on a $150 million sovereign bond offering that closed on December 30, 2019. The offering was made pursuant to Rule 144A and Regulation S, and the bonds are listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange. It is the first ever offering of sovereign bonds in the international markets by Laos.
