FRANKFURT, March 3, 2020: Morgan Lewis has advised the founder of German healthcare company Rhön-Klinikum AG, Eugen Münch, and investment firm HCM SE in a joint venture with hospital group Asklepios and the voluntary takeover of Rhön-Klinikum.
The joint venture with Asklepios will see the parties pool their combined shareholding of Rhön-Klinikum totaling almost 50%. Asklepios also announced a takeover offer to all remaining shareholders of Rhön-Klinikum. Following completion, Eugen Münch and Asklepios aim to acquire the majority of voting rights in Rhön-Klinikum.
