NEW YORK, June 4, 2020: Continuing the firm’s longstanding support of entrepreneurs and innovators, Morgan Lewis is sponsoring the Extreme Tech Challenge (XTC), which showcases inventors using technology to benefit society. The 501(c)(3) nonprofit is inspired by the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals and devoted to elevating the next generation of socially minded entrepreneurs.
Through its global startup competition, XTC provides top contenders with the potential for global visibility and the ability to raise capital, network with global entities (corporations, VCs, and partners), and gain mentorship opportunities they need to pioneer technological breakthroughs and help power a sustainable future.
This mission closely tracks the way Morgan Lewis supports emerging businesses and technology companies. As trusted counsel to both startups and global technology brands, Morgan Lewis helps clients manage risk and seize advantages through a pragmatic and personalized approach to their business. Many of Morgan Lewis’s technology lawyers bring real-world experience to the table, having worked as engineers or scientists, and have invested in or managed technology companies. They provide strategic and sophisticated legal advice for our clients’ innovations, collaborations, and investments worldwide.
You can register for more information on the finalists and their projects, which will be announced July 15.
