The Legal Intelligencer Honors Morgan Lewis Lawyers in Professional Excellence Awards

June 04, 2020

PHILADELPHIA, June 4, 2020: Two Morgan Lewis lawyers have been recognized by The Legal Intelligencer in its 2020 Professional Excellence Awards. The annual awards highlight the work and achievements of lawyers and law firms throughout the Pennsylvania legal community in a range of categories. Partner Robert Abramowitz was recognized as a Distinguished Leader, and associate Julie Goldemberg was named a Lawyer on the Fast Track.

Robert counsels clients on employee benefits matters, including fiduciary requirements under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, qualified pension and profit-sharing plans, and executive compensation issues. He works with companies and board compensation committees to design and, when necessary, amend benefit plans and programs, including cash incentive, retention, and severance arrangements for senior executives. He also advises tax-exempt organizations and their compensation committees on executive compensation matters, including intermediate sanctions.

Julie represents clients in patent, trademark, trade secret, and other intellectual property matters. Building on her background in electrical engineering, she has experience litigating traditional patent infringement cases and Hatch-Waxman cases in federal district courts at all stages from the time of filing the complaint to the completion of all appeals. She also has experience working on patent-related appeals before the US Supreme Court.

Robert is one of six Distinguished Leaders, and Julie is one of 24 Lawyers on the Fast Track.
