Morgan Lewis partner Omar Shah was quoted in an article by Global Competition Review after the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) on 6 November published draft updates to two of its merger guidance documents in preparation for the end of the Brexit Transition Period on 31 December 2020. “A key message in the revised guidelines is that uncertainty as to how digital markets will develop does not mean the CMA will conclude that competition concerns are unlikely to arise,”Omar said.
