NEW YORK, January 4, 2021: Morgan Lewis represented BIDS Trading in its sale to Cboe Global Markets Inc.
BIDS, a registered broker-dealer and the operator of the BIDS Alternative Trading System (ATS), is the largest block-trading ATS by volume in the United States. Cboe, a market operator and global trading solutions provider, now gains a foothold in the off-exchange segment of the US equities market and a global footprint with diversified offerings.
Morgan Lewis represented the founding consortium of 12 banks and financial services institutions in the 2006 formation of BIDS and has served as its counsel in all aspects of its business since that time.
