ORANGE COUNTY AND SAN FRANCISCO, April 20, 2021: Morgan Lewis has been named the 2021 Law Firm of the Year by the Public Law Center (PLC). The annual recognition honors a law firm that has provided significant pro bono support to PLC in the last year.
Morgan Lewis has partnered with PLC on a number of pro bono projects since first working with the nonprofit, which provides free legal services to low-income residents and other nonprofits in Orange County, more than 10 years ago. Over the last year, several Morgan Lewis lawyers and summer associates have assisted individuals seeking domestic violence restraining orders through PLC’s Domestic Violence Clinic and individuals seeking US citizenship through PLC’s naturalization clinic. Lawyers at the firm have also provided counsel to small businesses and guidance on adoption, immigration, and asylum matters in coordination with PLC. Additionally, the firm has actively participated in fundraising efforts and charity events benefiting PLC.
Morgan Lewis is set to be presented with the Law Firm of the Year award during a virtual ceremony on June 14.
