WASHINGTON, DC, May 14, 2021: Morgan Lewis environmental counseling and litigation of counsel Laurie Matthews testified May 13 before the US House Subcommittee on Environment and Climate Change regarding implications for industry of the CLEAN Future Act, H.R. 1512.
With a background in environmental engineering, Laurie counsels corporations on environmental compliance; environmental litigation; and the environmental aspects of transactions, financings, and property development. She represents manufacturers, power producers, insurance companies, and financial institutions in matters involving a host of US federal and state environmental and land use laws, with a focus on the remediation and development of contaminated properties and related enforcement actions and litigation.
