The DER sector is expected to experience growth in California as more electric vehicles, buildings, and distributed solar are integrated into the grid, all of which could pose distribution and planning challenges. Bill said, "There's a need to focus attention on the regulatory structure and the goals of distributed energy resources that have been kicked down the road for a long time.”
