Under the proposal, telehealth services would be covered by Medicare for rural and federally qualified health clinics. “CMS is considering introducing new remote therapeutic management services, which are built upon the existing remote patient monitoring codes but have several important policy differences, including how data is collected and the nature of the data collected,” Jake said of the proposal.
