WASHINGTON, October 27, 2021: Bloomberg Law’s inaugural Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Framework has recognized Morgan Lewis for exceeding DEI-related benchmarks in the industry.
Morgan Lewis is one of only 28 US-based law firms recognized for DEI-related metrics and distinguished performance aligned with six core pillars: demographics, leadership and talent pipeline, recruitment and retention, business innovation and strategy, marketing, and diversity and inclusion in the community.
“At Morgan Lewis, a diversity of thoughts, voices, and perspectives is integral to how we do business and how we support the next generation of leaders in the law,” said Morgan Lewis Chair Jami McKeon. “Bloomberg’s efforts to spotlight what firms are doing well in this important area will help move the needle for the entire legal profession as we continue to learn from and grow with one another.”
The DEI Framework was developed in collaboration with Bloomberg’s Gender-Equality Index team, as well as diversity leads at corporations and US-based law firms. Performance was assessed across more than 85 metrics, each associated with one of the six core pillars. Morgan Lewis surpassed the average score ranking in each of the six categories.
