Partner Daniel Tehrani spoke with National Law Journal about the US Department of Justice’s new enforcement team tasked with investigating and prosecuting criminal cases involving cryptocurrency, as well as growing the department’s knowledge about this rapidly evolving industry. While these cases often deal with traditional crimes such as money laundering or fraud, Daniel explained that “the unique aspect is not the crime itself, it’s being able to understand and explain the technology.”
