BOSTON, March 16, 2022: Morgan Lewis of counsel Laura Lerner has been recognized by the Youth Advocacy Foundation (YAF) as its inaugural Pro Bono Attorney of the Year. YAF, the nonprofit branch of the Youth Advocacy Division of the Committee for Public Counsel Services, works to defend the education rights of Massachusetts’ most vulnerable youth.
Laura was selected for the newly established honor based on her dedication and commitment to YAF as an active member of its EdLaw Project pro bono panel. In this role, she has worked with multiple students and their families to successfully secure special education services and placements needed in order for the students to succeed in school.
Laura is set to be formally honored during YAF’s Spring Celebration event in Boston on May 19th.
