PITTSBURGH, March 11, 2022: Morgan Lewis partner John Gisleson has been inducted into the American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL) as a fellow during its spring meeting in Coronado, California.
ACTL, which maintains and seeks to improve the standards of trial practice, professionalism, ethics, and the administration of justice, is an invitation-only fellowship of exceptional trial lawyers of diverse backgrounds from the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico who have mastered the art of advocacy and whose professional careers have been marked by the highest standards of ethical conduct, professionalism, civility, and collegiality.
With a particular focus on energy, environmental, construction, and financial matters, John represents clients across a range of business litigation issues. He has tried cases in the construction, energy, environmental, financial institution, manufacturing, real estate, retail, securities, and waste industries. John has served as lead trial counsel in both defending and prosecuting matters and has represented clients in arbitration. He also maintains an active pro bono practice with experience working on asylum and death penalty cases. John joins 10 other Morgan Lewis lawyers in the prestigious legal association.
