NEW YORK, April 27, 2022: Morgan Lewis has been honored by Office Depot for embracing the highest level of sustainability choices when purchasing office supplies. As the only law firm recognized by the retailer with its Leadership in Greener Purchasing Award for the second consecutive year, Morgan Lewis incorporates eco-friendly materials as part of the firm’s overall sustainability efforts.
Separately, Morgan Lewis recently attained Gold status on this year’s American Legal Industry Sustainability Standard (ALISS) evaluation for its sustainability efforts in five broad categories: internal sustainability, external sustainability, stakeholder engagement, measuring and reporting, and innovation and challenge. The ALISS assessment was developed by the Law Firm Sustainability Network (LFSN), a nonprofit organization of which Morgan Lewis is a member along with other law firms and legal departments, dedicated to promoting the benefits of environmental sustainability and corporate social responsibility throughout the legal industry.

As part of Morgan Lewis’s global sustainability policy, a firmwide working group sets goals, assesses the firm’s global supply chain, and makes recommendations for establishing more sustainable standards for the firm globally.
