NEW YORK, July 26, 2022: For the eighth consecutive year, the Women in Law Empowerment Forum (WILEF) awarded its US Gold Standard Certification to Morgan Lewis. The annual certification celebrates firms that meet objective results-driven criteria that demonstrate a significant number of women have attained the highest leadership levels at the firm.
“We have long recognized that a firm culture focused on engagement, well-being, and inclusion is the key to providing exceptional client service,” said Firm Chair Jami McKeon. “We’ve been very intentional to create an environment where all people can be their authentic selves and support our women wherever they are in their lives.”
In order to earn WILEF’s Gold Standard status, law firms must satisfy the following: 25% of equity partners are women, or, alternatively, 40% of the lawyers who became equity partners within the last year are female; and 10% of equity partners are women of color or 4% of women equity partners are LGBTQ+.
