Partner David Plotinsky was quoted in a GCR feature article discussing how policy considerations, rather than legal issues, lead to the most complicated US-based foreign investment control matters.
David, who was the acting chief and principal deputy chief of the Foreign Investment Review Section at the US Department of Justice, said that “legal issues are the starting point, not the end point.” He also noted that “the policy points are sometimes changing day-to-day.”
