NEW YORK, October 18, 2022: For the fifth consecutive year, Diversity Lab has recognized Morgan Lewis with its Mansfield Rule Certification, which highlights law firms that demonstrate a sustained and meaningful commitment to an inclusive workplace by boosting the representation of diverse lawyers in firm leadership positions. Morgan Lewis was one of 30 leading law firms in the United States that partnered with Diversity Lab when it launched the Mansfield Rule Certification in 2017.

In addition to the 5.0 certification for 2022, Morgan Lewis also achieved “Plus” status, which recognizes a smaller group of law firms that have exceeded diverse representation goals for lawyers that were both considered for and named to current leadership roles and committees.
This year’s certification measured whether firms have, at a minimum, 30% women, lawyers of color, LGBTQ+ lawyers, and lawyers with disabilities in key leadership and governance roles, equity partner promotions, formal client pitch opportunities, and senior lateral positions.
