An article from Private Equity Law Report noted partner Ami Wynne’s participation in a panel discussion about performing cultural reviews for clients. The panelists compared the cultural review process with investigations, with Ami noting that cultural reviews typically focus more on general questions about the perceptions of the workforce rather than having a connection to an allegation of misconduct or public disclosure that would require an internal investigation.
“Maybe it is about the perceptions of diversity or a particular experience in the workplace; maybe it is about the promotion process and transparency; maybe it is about the speak-up culture [and whether] people feel comfortable coming forward; maybe it is leadership behaviors,” Ami said.
