Partner Sandra Vrejan was quoted by ESG Dive in an article about the trends impacting the ESG landscape in 2024. Sandra shared what she expects to see in the area of climate financing following the COP28 agreement to “transition away” from fossil fuel, noting that she is excited to see governments making pledges to help emerging and developing economies prepare for the transition and reach net zero.
“I think that there will be a continued focus on those types of transactions, but I think everyone [is] also interested to monitor how there might be other uses of the capital markets, perhaps through direct investment in climate conservation efforts,” Sandra said.
