Partner Sharon Masling spoke with Law360 about the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s (EEOC’s) new harassment guidance. Sharon noted the breadth of the guidance, which includes dozens of examples of workplace harassment scenarios and how the agency views them under the law.
“I always think examples are helpful. It shows how the EEOC is thinking about these issues, how they’re going to analyze these issues,” Sharon said. “So it’s a great way of just incorporating current case law into the guidance. It also shows how the courts are thinking about these issues.”
