Partner Kenneth Nunnenkamp was quoted in a Foreign Investment Watch article discussing the unusual terms of the US Steel-Nippon deal, highlighting that some provisions, like a large investment and a “Golden Share,” are rare and may raise questions about national security and government oversight.
“It would be difficult at best to decide whether all of the economic terms are related to those national security concerns,” Ken told the publication.
