LOS ANGELES, September 8, 2025: Partner Max Fischer has been recognized by the Los Angeles Business Journal as a Labor & Employment Lawyer of Influence in 2025. The Journal’s annual special issue honors the most influential labor and employment lawyers who have made significant contributions to the Los Angeles community.
Max represents companies across the United States in labor and employment matters including internal investigations and crisis management strategies, wage and hour compliance, employee transition and noncompete issues, reductions in force, voluntary separation programs, and the separation of individual employees. He regularly advises clients on all aspects of the employment lifecycle and has extensive experience leading the defense of complex individual and class employment litigation matters.
In his litigation practice, Max represents clients in numerous class actions and business disputes, including wage and hour violations, systemic discrimination and pay inequity, breach of contract, partnership disputes, and trade secret misappropriation. He also routinely defends companies facing claims of discrimination, ERISA, wrongful termination, and defamation, as well as in traditional labor disputes.
