Merger and Acquisition Attorney of the Year Finalist: Laurie Cerveny, Law.com
October 21, 2025Partner Laurie Cerveny was recognized by Law.com as a finalist for the New England Legal Awards’ Merger and Acquisition Attorney of the Year. In the Q&A, Laurie, one of the firm’s three global Managing Partners, discussed qualities that are fundamental to becoming a successful M&A lawyer and some of the accomplishments of which she is most proud.
Discussing the future of M&A dealmaking, Laurie said, “Artificial intelligence will continue to grow in importance, both as an industry of continued dealmaking and as a tool to advance efficiency in transactions.”
