Big Law Hires from Government—‘Like Nothing We’ve Ever Seen’—Jumped 225% in the DC Region This Year, The American Lawyer

The American Lawyer reported on the number of government-lawyer hires Morgan Lewis made in its Washington, DC office in 2025 in an article summarizing a recent report from recruiting firm Garrison & Sisson.

Drawing from the report, which used Firm Prospects data, the article notes that Morgan Lewis hired 13 government lawyers in DC in the past year, more than all but two other firms in the nation’s capital.
