Companies, Workers Gauge Reporting on Tax Law’s Overtime Break, Bloomberg Law

Partners Mary “Handy” Hevener and Steven Johnson were featured in a Bloomberg Law article on employer strategies for reporting the new overtime deduction under the 2025 tax law.

“Employers won’t face penalties for not reporting overtime compensation, but incorrect calculations could lead to civil damages,” said Handy. Steven added, “We’re working through best practices to reduce risk while ensuring employees have clear, usable information.”
