Morgan Lewis Named Public M&A Team of the Year at British Legal Awards

LONDON, December 2, 2025: Morgan Lewis was named Public M&A Team of the Year at the British Legal Awards, hosted by Law.com. The awards celebrate law firms and practitioners that have demonstrated exceptional achievement across the UK legal market.

The firm’s recognition was driven by its work advising Nebius Group N.V., an artificial intelligence infrastructure company, formerly named Yandex, in relation to the sale of its businesses in Russia and certain international markets—at the time the largest Western exit from Russia.

In addition to securing the Public M&A Team of the Year honor, Morgan Lewis was a finalist in five other categories, including International Law Firm of the Year, Capital Markets Team of the Year, and Disputes Team of the Year. Paul Mesquitta was also recognized as a finalist for Disputes Partner of the Year, and the firm was further shortlisted for Best Use of Tech.
