FCC Issues Enforcement Action for Violation of Mitigation Agreement, Foreign Investment Watch

Partner Loyaan Egal was quoted in a Foreign Investment Watch article examining a landmark Federal Communications Commission (FCC) enforcement action tied to noncompliance with a Team Telecom national security mitigation agreement.

The settlement highlights an expanded enforcement role for the FCC in matters involving compliance with Team Telecom national security mitigation agreements related to foreign ownership and access controls.

“With the FCC now stepping in as an enforcement partner with Team Telecom,” Loyaan said, “it means companies will now face additional scrutiny regarding their compliance efforts.”
