States Snub Trump’s Plan to Ease ‘Forever Chemicals’ Limits, Politico Pro

Politico Pro quoted partner Matthew Thurlow in an article about states moving to adopt the Biden-era per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) drinking water limits amid uncertainty and delays in the current administration’s plan to rescind and revise the federal standards.

Matt noted that he expects this trend to continue in other states that have previously prioritized environmental protections.

“It’s very murky with respect to what will happen at the federal level. A lot of states are going to move forward with just adopting the Biden-era rules,” Matt said.
