US Government Slows Down on Tariff Refunds, Boersen-Zeitung

German publication Boersen-Zeitung quoted partner Katelyn Hilferty in an article examining the challenges importers may face in obtaining refunds following the US Supreme Court’s decision striking down the administration’s tariffs under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act.

Katie noted that businesses should temper expectations regarding the timeline for reimbursement, particularly given the anticipated administrative backlog and complexity of the process.

“I’d be pleasantly surprised if the money came that quickly,” she said.
