LCLD Honors Morgan Lewis Partner Michelle Park Chiu With Rick Palmore Award
May 08, 2026SAN FRANCISCO, May 8, 2026: The Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) has recognized Morgan Lewis Antitrust partner Michelle Park Chiu with its Rick Palmore Award—the highest alumni honor bestowed by the organization. Named for LCLD’s founder, the award celebrates alumni whose outstanding achievements, leadership, and commitment have made a lasting impact on their legal communities and the profession at large.
Michelle—who was selected as an LCLD Fellow in 2016 and held multiple leadership roles with the LCLD Alumni Executive Council—has been instrumental in shaping LCLD programing and bolstering engagement nationwide.
Michelle’s work in this area is not limited to the LCLD. She led Morgan Lewis’s Asian American/Asian Lawyers Network; serves on the board of the Morgan Lewis Foundation, which provides scholarships to law students committed to advancing inclusion in the profession; and serves as co-chair of the firm’s Mobilizing for Equality initiative. She also served as President of the Asian American Bar Association of the Greater Bay Area in 2021 and was recognized as a Rising Star by the Minority Corporate Counsel Association in 2024.
The award will be presented in June at the 15th Annual LCLD Alumni Leadership Symposium in Denver.
