The Administration’s New AI Framework Includes Something the Government Hasn’t Had Before, Federal News Network

Alex discussed how the executive order encourages earlier collaboration between government and industry while leaving key implementation questions to be addressed through future guidance. He noted that the framework could help balance innovation with national security by enabling developers and agencies to work together while protecting confidentiality and intellectual property. As Alex explained, “As tech is being developed and as tech changes, the development changes quickly and companies are interested in getting to market.” He also highlighted the executive order’s potential benefits for critical infrastructure operators, including opportunities to strengthen AI-enabled cybersecurity capabilities and access federal support.
