Plan Sponsors Face Challenges to Providing Mental Health Parity, PLANSPONSOR

Partner Sage Fattahian spoke with PLANSPONSOR about the challenges health plan sponsors face in complying with federal mental health parity requirements, including network adequacy, which has emerged as an area of focus for the US Department of Labor. "Plan sponsors should work with their consultants to identify what engagement is and collect feedback from participants on these tools to see if they need to be refined or if they're even worth offering," Sage said.
