This article, co-authored by Emily DeSmedt, examines steps that can be taken and new strategies that can be implemented by employers for re-examining existing DEI efforts while acknowledging that simply prohibiting employers from considering race, gender, and other protected characteristics is not enough to achieve meaningful diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
