Pregnant Workers Fairness Act Could Expand ADA Protections to Larger Worker Pool, International Employment Lawyer

Associate Emily Cuneo DeSmedt wrote an article for the International Employment Lawyer about the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act. If passed, the act will expand to all pregnant and postpartum employees and job applicants the reasonable accommodation protections that the Americans with Disabilities Act and Title VII already grant to many pregnant employees.
