As the Biden-Harris administration, state governments, and utilities prioritize addressing climate change through reduction of carbon emissions, the United States could soon rival Europe in its use of offshore wind turbines, explained partners Ella Foley Gannon and Dan Skees and associate Scott Clausen in an article written for Reuters. However, whether emerging “commitments, goals, and purchase agreements result in installed turbines remains an open question,” they write.
