3 Things Employers Should Know About EEOC's AI Guidance, Law360

Partner Sharon Perley Masling spoke with Law360 about new guidance from the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) involving artificial intelligence (AI)-based software used in the hiring process. Sharon said the guidance shows that issues tied to the use of automated decision-making tools are an enforcement priority for the agency.

"AI is not going away, and this guidance is a strong reminder that regulatory and enforcement agencies are focused on the civil rights implications of using AI in the workplace," Sharon said.
