Beijing Court Gives Guidance on Social Media and Overtime, International Employment Lawyer

Partner Lesli Ligorner spoke to International Employment Lawyer about a recent ruling from a Beijing appellate court regarding overtime and social media use.

“The rate of compensation depends on whether the employee worked on a regular working day, 150%; a regularly scheduled rest day, 200%; or compensatory time off at a 1:1 ratio; or national holiday, 300%,” said Lesli.
