Joseph V. Gatti
Joe Gatti is a veteran legal executive and strategic advisor to financial institutions, asset managers, and real estate–focused companies. As former head of legal for an innovative residential real estate investment firm, Joe brings a business-minded perspective shaped by years of executive leadership at a company working to transform the real estate market. He partners with leadership teams to align legal strategy with enterprise objectives, navigate complex regulatory environments, and support scalable, forward-looking growth initiatives.
Joe advises on asset management, real estate, structured transactions, and corporate finance matters, drawing on deep experience in financial regulation and risk management. Clients value his ability to provide practical, strategic counsel that advances business goals rather than just executes transactions.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Joe led legal operations at a residential real estate investment, development, and operations firm. He also previously served as counsel (section chief) at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation during the financial crisis and as a partner at other global law firms.
