BOSTON, December 28, 2021: Morgan Lewis partner Sara Wells has been recognized on the list of “Go To Lawyers: Trusts & Estates” for 2021 by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly. The annual recognition honors top lawyers across the commonwealth who have illustrated that they are leaders with a long record of success in their respective field. This year’s Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly “Go To Lawyers” were nominated by their peers and chosen by a Lawyers Weekly panel.
Sara’s practice is focused on state planning, estate and trust administration, tax planning, and business succession planning. Sara counsels clients worldwide in the creation of their estate plans, including establishing various irrevocable trusts—such as irrevocable insurance trusts, grantor retained annuity trusts, qualified personal residence trusts, and defective grantor trusts—to help clients make tax-efficient transfers to family members. Sara also administers estates and serves as trustee of her clients’ trusts. She also assists closely held businesses with the preparation of their corporate documents, including limited liability companies’ operating agreements and buy-sell agreements.
