Partner Joshua Goodman was quoted in a Mergermarket article discussing how higher tariffs could result in more concentrated US markets, especially in industries that are dependent on international trade, leading to increased antitrust concerns.
Josh noted that geographic markets could also be narrowed in response to tariffs. “If we have higher trade barriers, that could turn some markets that were considered multinational or global markets into national relevant geographic markets,” Josh told the publication.
