Partner David Plotinsky and associate Ivon Guo co-authored an article for Law360 discussing ways in which companies can prepare for pending regulations intended to protect US sensitive data from countries of concern. David and Ivon said that while the government continues to develop the regulations, companies should consider filing comments to potentially shape how they are scoped and may want to begin drafting new diligence checklists to address sensitive data transfers and thinking about new compliance programs.
