Alexey Chertov advises clients on banking, finance, restructuring, and insolvency matters. He counsels banks in connection with financing transactions and debt collections, and represents banks that are creditors in bankruptcy proceedings. He also helps corporate clients in restructuring loan portfolios and in insolvency proceedings. Before joining Morgan Lewis, Alexey was an associate in the banking practice of another international law firm. Since October 2013 until May 2014 Mr. Chertov was seconded to Sberbank Europe AG where he worked on a number of international financing transactions as in-house legal counsel. A native Russian speaker, Alexey is also fluent in English.
