Ai Leen Koh counsels clients on a variety of intellectual property (IP) issues, including US and foreign patent prosecution, patent strategy, IP due diligence, and IP portfolio management. Ai Leen’s technical background and experience span a variety of technology fields, including computer software, medical and consumer devices, medical robotics, materials science, batteries, mechanical engineering, renewable energy, and nanotechnology.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis in 2017, Ai Leen worked as a senior research scientist at Stanford University, where she conducted research on nanomaterials for a wide variety of applications including energy storage, catalysis, and early cancer detection. She has co-authored over 80 peer-reviewed journal papers and given over 30 invited talks internationally. Her research has been cited over 10,000 times.
