Ali M. Kliment leads and advises on sensitive internal investigations involving allegations of discrimination, harassment, workplace misconduct, and retaliation. She works closely with clients to navigate high-risk personnel matters, address privacy/confidentiality concerns, and implement appropriate remedial measures. Her investigations often involve issues with significant legal, reputational, and organizational implications.

Ali also often defends employers in complex and sensitive employment matters, including single-plaintiff, class, and collective actions alleging discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and whistleblower claims. She has experience litigating and trying cases in both state and federal courts, which allows her to provide clients with practical litigation strategies that account for both legal exposure and broader business considerations.

In addition to her investigations and litigation practice, Ali counsels companies on day-to-day employment issues like performance management, disciplinary actions, employment and separation agreements, and compliance with state and federal employment laws.

Ali represents clients across diverse industries, including pharmaceutical, healthcare, technology, retail, financial services, education, and aerospace and defense.

She maintains an active pro bono practice, assisting local nonprofit organizations with both day-to-day and complex employment issues and representing individuals and families in their applications for immigration benefits.
