Alec Mandell advises clients on patent procurement and intellectual property (IP) matters. Aided by his engineering background, Alec has assisted clients in securing hundreds of domestic and international utility and design patents across a range of technologies, including augmented and virtual reality, artificial intelligence, user interfaces and experiences, circuit design, signal processing, portable electronic devices, medical devices, and mechanical devices. He also represents clients before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), where he has successfully handled inter partes reviews and ex parte reexaminations. Additionally, Alec supports clients in related legal areas such as IP litigation and transactions.
