An Le focuses her practice on patent litigation matters with experience assisting on cases before US District Courts, the US International Trade Commission, and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. An also advises on patent and other intellectual property licensing. She brings a medical research background to her practice, and has published scientific articles in Alimentary Pharmacology & Therapeutics and other peer-reviewed medical journals.
While in law school, An was executive managing editor of the Hastings Communications and Entertainment Law Journal and a board member of the Hastings Moot Court Team. She was a national quarterfinalist in the Irving R. Kaufman Memorial Securities Law Moot Court Competition and a semifinalist in the National Entertainment Law Moot Court Competition. An also served as a judicial extern to Judge Jacqueline Scott Corley of the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
Prior to law school, An was a clinical researcher in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Stanford University School of Medicine. She has data analysis and clinical trial experience, and has published 40 research studies in peer-reviewed medical journals on viral hepatitis, liver cancer, and advanced liver disease. An has also conducted talks and presentations at various national and international hepatology conferences. For her research, she received a Presidential Award at the Asian Pacific Association for the Study of the Liver’s Single Topic Conference on the Hepatitis C Virus in 2016.
