Brad Wilson focuses his practice on intellectual property (IP) counseling and prosecution. Brad prepares and prosecutes US and international patents in the areas of commercial and government satellite systems, satellite imaging, satellite communications, laser systems, intraocular lenses, intraocular surgical devices, infusion pumps, infusion components, disposable IV sets, ventilator systems and components, drug dispensing and packaging systems, biological testing devices, COVID-19 test devices, antennas, cellular mobile devices, cellular infrastructure, semiconductors, semiconductor fabrication equipment, sensors, ubiquitous sensor networks, radio-frequency identification (RFID) devices, robotics, wireless power, LED devices, and sports equipment.
Brad also prosecutes US and international patents in the areas of beverage containers, toys, distributed computing software, network/internet security applications, internet cloud applications, and mobile device apps.
Corporate mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic alliances and licensing agreements are often based on IP assets, and Brad provides IP due diligence counseling from IP licensing to complete company acquisitions. He also provides IP portfolio management and strategic planning counseling, as well as freedom to operate and validity/invalidity opinions.
While in law school, Brad was awarded a three-year Dean’s Merit Scholarship. He also earned a master’s of management in marketing and finance and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology.
