Brian W. Sullivan is an employment litigator and counselor who focuses on benefits-related and other complex employment matters. Brian regularly defends employers, plan sponsors, fiduciaries, and service providers in Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA) litigation across the United States. Brian works with clients across various industries handling a broad range of other employment disputes, defending both class/collective and single-plaintiff actions involving discrimination, whistleblower/retaliation, wage and hour, and other employment claims. He also counsels employers on all manner of day-to-day workplace issues, from hiring, training, and policy implementation to discipline and termination.
Brian also counsels employers on a wide variety of workplace issues, including harassment training, performance management and disciplinary issues, separations and severance, and other day-to-day matters.
Before joining Morgan Lewis, Brian handled white collar criminal matters and commercial disputes in the litigation department of a major Philadelphia law firm, in which he conducted internal investigations in response to inquiries by the US Department of Justice (DOJ), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and other regulatory bodies.
