Working closely with an array of pharmaceutical, retail, and financial services clients, Brian W. Sullivan litigates labor and employment disputes before state and federal courts and regulatory agencies, including the EEOC and the DOL. He represents employers facing claims of discrimination on the basis of race, gender, pregnancy, and disability, as well as whistleblower and retaliation claims. Brian also represents employers in wage and hour and noncompetition matters and defends class and collective actions as well as single-plaintiff claims.
Before joining Morgan Lewis, Brian handled white collar criminal matters and commercial disputes in the litigation department of a major Philadelphia law firm, in which he conducted internal investigations in response to inquiries by the US Department of Justice (DOJ), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and other regulatory bodies.
Brian’s pro bono work includes working with asylum seekers and with the Pennsylvania Innocence Project. He also counsels nonprofit organizations on employment issues, and serves on the board of directors of Rock to the Future, a nonprofit organization providing free music education and academic support to Philadelphia’s underserved youth.
