Catherine S. (Cait) Houseman specializes in a wide range of employment-related litigation and counseling, including employment discrimination and harassment, whistleblower and retaliation claims, wage and hour compliance, predictive scheduling, and ERISA litigation. Cait has secured favorable outcomes for clients throughout every stage of litigation, including a defense verdict following a trial and resolving matters in arbitration. She also conducts sensitive internal investigations of employee complaints and advises employers on appropriate responses and remediation measures. Additionally, Cait maintains an active child advocacy and guardianship pro bono practice.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Cait litigated complex commercial disputes in the life sciences litigation department of a large international law firm.
During law school, Cait interned for Judge Anthony J. Scirica, US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and Judge John R. Padova, US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Cait also served as a member of the Temple Law Moot Court Team and Temple Law Review and worked in the Family Law Division of the Temple Legal Aid Office.
